A Preview of Your Role

As a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant your responsibilities will include financial statement compilation in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards or other reporting frameworks as well as assisting clients with the application of new or existing accounting standards and interpretations.

Gear Up for Success: Essential Qualifications

• Experienced proactive and teamfocused professional
  
• Accounting degree required; auditing experience is good to have but not mandatory
  
• Willingness to learn and develop your technical financial reporting skill base
  
• Preferably with Accuri and Caseware experience
  
• 3 to 5 years of public practice experience in a similar role or recent external audit experience
  
• Proven history of delivering highquality engagements
  
• Strong project management skills and ability to perform under pressure
  
• Exceptional communication skills with methodical problemsolving abilities
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
  
• Ability to act with integrity and show care for the people you work with
  
• CA/CPA qualification or currently in progress
  

Your Impact: Unveiling Key Responsibilities

• Compile financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards or other reporting frameworks.
  
• Assist clients with the application of new or existing accounting standards and interpretations.
  
• Prepare lease accounting calculations and nonroutine estimates.
  
• Prepare cash flow statements deferred tax entries and consolidations.
  
• Provide growth potential and opportunities to help shape the future team.
  
• Engage with both internal stakeholders and work closely with external clients to facilitate and deliver a range of financial reporting services reporting directly to Director/Partner and exposure to csuite executives.
