You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailSpecific responsibilities for the role include: • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and electronic flight control systems. • Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics system issues and malfunctions. • Repair or replace faulty avionics components, such as transponders, radios, and radar systems. • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. • Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with industry regulations. • Keep up-to-date with advancements in avionics technology and attending training as needed. • Ensure that all work is conducted safely and efficiently to minimize aircraft downtime. Qualifications About you The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering with minimum 5 Years Aircraft Maintenance experience (including apprenticeship). • Relevant work experience in avionics maintenance, ideally with a focus on the specific type of aircraft or avionics systems Qatar Airways operates. • Strong understanding of avionics systems, electronics, and aircraft maintenance practices is essential. • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex avionics system issues is crucial. • Familiarity with avionics tools and equipment is necessary for performing maintenance tasks. • Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures is a must. • Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team is important for coordinating efforts and ensuring aircraft are serviced efficiently. • Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written English).
