Jolera’s PMO is a very data driven environment, managed with strict controls to ensure data integrity. PMO Analysts maintain and support the varying Excel based systems that hold this data while managing the processes that contribute to its overall operations. The duties of this key support role also include working closely with project managers for compliance and to ensure administrative tasks are up to date.
The ideal candidate will understand operational systems with significant knowledge/ experience working with and interpreting data. Only candidates that live in Colombo and surrounding areas will be considered for this position.
What You Will Do
Support the Project Management Office including:
- Maintain Excel based systems used to manage and track projects, resources, and billing with a high level of accuracy. This may include development of new logic to meet varying criteria.
- Report on various metrics including recognized revenue, project attributes including open/closed, aging, project health, dependencies.
- Participate in various data review initiatives.
- Manage incoming project requests ensuring requests meet ideal requirements.
- Communicate with other departments for follow up of various tasks.
- Participate in forecasting the probability of meeting milestone dates with project managers and senior management.
Support a team of project managers:
- Documenting and following up on important project actions and decisions.
- Create and follow up on billing requisitions.
- Coordinate project resources.
- Create and follow up on Change and Procurement requests.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with data.
- Strong understanding of the logic around datasets.
- Minimum intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional ability to keep track of tasks, deadlines, progress, highly organized.
- Task and results driven, strong ability to multitask, with a heightened sense of urgency.
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in administrative procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, taking ownership of assigned tasks to successful completion.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment, preferably for an IT consulting firm.
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in administrative procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members located globally with varying communication styles.
Working Conditions
- Position requires the incumbent to work remotely.
- Must be able to come to the office for special meetings/ events in Colombo.
- Overtime may be required to meet key deadlines.
