Overview
As a Md Ayurveda you will play a crucial role in providing leadership strategic direction and oversight for the Ayurvedic department within a healthcare organization. Your expertise in Ayurvedic medicine and your ability to effectively manage patient care and staff will be essential in delivering highquality holistic healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing clinical care pathways and treatment plans based on Ayurvedic principles
- Leading and managing a team of Ayurvedic practitioners and support staff
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to Ayurvedic medicine
- Conducting patient consultations and providing personalized Ayurvedic treatment recommendations
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to integrate Ayurvedic practices into holistic patient care
- Participating in continuous education and training to stay updated with advancements in Ayurvedic medicine
- Contributing to the development of Ayurvedic research and clinical trials
- Overseeing the procurement and quality control of herbal remedies and Ayurvedic medicines
- Developing and managing departmental budgets and financial resources
- Implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Representing the Ayurvedic department in organizational leadership meetings and strategic planning
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior Ayurvedic practitioners and students
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with patients families and the community
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Ayurveda Medicine (MD Ayurveda) from a recognized institution
- Licensure to practice Ayurvedic medicine in the relevant location
- Minimum 5 years of experience practicing Ayurvedic medicine with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing Ayurvedic treatment plans and therapies
- Strong knowledge of herbal remedies Ayurvedic pharmacology and traditional healing techniques
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and learning
- Sound understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance in relation to Ayurvedic medicine
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
