Job Description
Overview
As a Family Medicine Physician at our practice you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages. Your expertise and compassionate care will contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of our community. You will have the opportunity to build longterm relationships with patients and address a wide range of medical needs from preventive care to chronic conditions and acute illnesses.
Key responsibilities
- Performing thorough physical examinations and medical histories for patients of all ages
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and screenings
- Developing and implementing patient care plans
- Providing primary care for acute and chronic illnesses
- Offering preventative care and health maintenance services
- Counseling and educating patients on various healthrelated issues
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Documenting patient information and care plans accurately and efficiently
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and evidencebased practice guidelines
- Participating in oncall and weekend coverage on a rotating basis
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Residency training in Family Medicine
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- State medical licensure and DEA registration
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions
- Strong knowledge of evidencebased medicine and current medical guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion for patients and their families
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
