Position Title: Senior Applications Analyst

Department: Finance

Reporting to: IT Superintendent

Location: Kiambu County

Our client is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Senior Applications Analyst within their Finance Department. Reporting directly to the IT Superintendent the successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential support and management for business applications ensuring seamless operations and effective utilization within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance functionality of current applications including the ERP system to meet evolving business needs through the development and deployment of innovative solutions.
  
• Ensure end users can effectively utilize Oracle ERP and Windowsbased applications to accomplish their business objectives.
  
• Manage the planning development installation testing modification and evaluation of all databases and related client services and reporting.
  
• Maintain the integrity of databases and ensure that installed applications function as expected.
  
• Oversee IT services related to database operation performance availability and change management.
  
• Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

1. Bachelors degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field. A Masters degree is considered an advantage.
   
2. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting user problems with applications and identifying solutions/workarounds.
   
3. Five (5) years of handson experience with an ERP system preferably handling Financial and Supply Chain modules setups and customizations.
   
4. Experience in SQL query writing report development and deployment within an ERP platform.
   
5. Proficiency in Oracle forms development.
   
6. Strong understanding of data processing systems networking and systems development.
   
7. Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of installed applications.
   
8. Ability to work well in a team under pressure with attention to detail and strong problemsolving skills.
   
9. Additional value: extensive knowledge of Oracle EBS R12.
   
10. This position falls under Essential Services and requires residency on the company premises.
