Job Description

Job Summary:

Due to significant growth a great opportunity has risen and we are currently seeking a fulltime experienced accountant to join our friendly and supportive team. It will be an autonomous role and a real opportunity for the right person to come along and make a serious difference to the business.

We are a boutique tax and advisory business based in Seven Hills. We undertake taxation compliance and business advisory work across multiple industries. Our work is quality and high standard. Job Description:

Yearend & quarterend duties:
  • Preparing tax returns for companies trusts and SMSF s.
  • Assisting with taxation issues including PAYG CGT GST and Div7A.
  • Preparation of quarterly BAS and superannuation for lodgment.
  • Be involved in engagements from beginning to end.
  • Other accounting tasks including liaising with ATO & ASIC assisting with preparation of forms.
Bookkeeping function:
  • Preparation of payroll STP and payslips.
  • Maintaining client s bookkeeping on Xero.
  • Ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time.


Requirements

Requirements/Skills needed:
  • At least 2 years experience working in an Australianbased Public Practice Accounting Firm.
  • Strong experience in XERO & Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask/prioritise and manage time effectively and efficiently.

Additional Job Details:

Setup and Location: WFH Setup
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEST) 7:00 PM 4:00 AM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Fulltime
