Job Overview
As a Trainer & Assessor your primary responsibility is to assess nationally recognized units of competency and provide student feedback and support whilst ensuring compliance is met in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organizations (RTO) for an Australian RTO. This means you will be marking assessments such as quizzes and project tasks using rubrics and marking guides from the TAE Training Package that are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Explain to students the requirements of their assessments.
Marking of assessment tasks
Conducting recognition of prior learning assessments from student portfolios
Provide feedback and support to students
Complete all necessary assessment records
Participate in validation and moderation meetings (as required)
Requirements
Cert IV TAE and Diploma TAE
a higherlevel qualification in adult education
Highly proficient assessor with attention to detail whilst marking.
Highly motivated resourceful and able to work autonomously
Solid ethics integrity respect and confidentiality.
