Job Description
Position Title: IT Analyst Applications (QAD Data Engineer)
Location: Bangalore India
Experience: 10 years of relevant experience in IT
Job Summary:
1. The QAD Data Engineer will assume the role of AsBuilt BOM Business Developer and will be accountable for crafting facilityspecific data objects using Snowflake SQL logic. They will also be responsible for developing solutions and building logic through collaboration with multiple functional and technical teams.
2. Familiarity with Clients business processes system landscape and iterative development processes is essential.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to comprehend business requirements effectively.
2. Design solutions tailored to the specific ERP/facility assigned within the program.
3. Implement solution designs against the requirements template to construct a facilityspecific data model.
4. Collaborate with the assigned subject matter expert from the business to develop data sets for addressing business queries regarding facility data elements.
5. Validate the final data model in collaboration with the assigned subject matter expert from the business.
6. Provide architectural guidelines as needed.
Required Skillsets:
1. Possess over 6 years of experience within the Manufacturing environment.
2. Demonstrate over 3 years of proficiency in using Snow SQL within a Snowflake environment and expertise in utilizing the top 100 SQL and PL/SQL commands to meet data model requirements.
3. Acquire over 5 years of Manufacturing system experience in QAD modules/applications.
4. Comprehensive understanding of business concepts such as BOM inventory parts consumption part number change and revision level part hierarchy and linking serialized product with serialized component from other facilities.
5. handson experience within EDS Teamcenter MAMM MESA SAP IFS Glovia and PEGI applications is highly advantageous.
6. Proficient in iterative problemsolving within POC projects even in the absence of clear directions.
7. Good experience in structuring data into hierarchical models.
8. Ability to translate technical questions into data owner and architecture escalation points.
9. Understanding of agile principles and IT project management is desirable..
10. Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment.
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with proficient presentation analytical organizational and interpersonal skills.
12. Strong troubleshooting problemsolving and conceptualization skills.
Work Timings: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST (Approx.)
