We are recruiting for a Playground Inspection and Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for inspecting maintaining and repairing playground equipment. On offer is a salary of around 32000 which is negotiable based on experience a company van 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and a pension scheme.
As the Playground Inspection and Maintenance Engineer you will be:
- Inspecting Playgrounds.
- Completing survey reports and quality checks to assess what work is required to ensure accurate pricing.
- Performing maintenance and repairs to outdoor play equipment ramps MultiUse Games Areas (MUGAs) fitness equipment safety surfacing and associated landscaping which could include digging out and replacing rotten posts replacing above ground timbers bolt caps and other play equipment components as well as rubber mulch grass mats loose fill and wet pour surfacing etc.
Requirements
To be considered as the Playground Inspection and Maintenance Engineer you will need:
- To be experienced at inspecting repairing and maintaining playground equipment.
- To have a good knowledge of the related safety regulations and standards.
- To possess good problem solving skills.
- Have the ability to work independently.
- Be happy to cover a large geographical area.
- Competent in operating hand tools.
Any of the following would be an additional benefit:
- Experience related to MUGA s and ramps.
- Experience of installing grass mats bonded rubber mulch loose fill and wetpour.
- To be an RPII Operations Inspector.
