Overview:
The Oracle BRM Developer plays a crucial role in our organization by designing developing and maintaining the billing and revenue management system using Oracle BRM. They are responsible for ensuring the systems efficiency reliability and security and for implementing new features and enhancements to meet the business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing billing and revenue management solutions using Oracle BRM
- Customizing and configuring the Oracle BRM system based on the business requirements
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to integrate Oracle BRM with other systems
- Performing system testing and quality assurance
- Identifying and resolving technical issues and performance bottlenecks
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation
- Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers
- Ensuring the security and compliance of the billing system
- Managing software releases and deployments
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting
- Continuously researching and evaluating new technologies and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience as an Oracle BRM Developer for at least 7 years
- Strong proficiency in Oracle BRM configuration and customization
- Expertise in billing and revenue management processes
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and reporting
- Experience with Java programming for customizations and integrations
- Understanding of telecom industry standards and practices
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Certifications in Oracle BRM or related technologies (preferred)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Git Jenkins) is a plus
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of cloud technologies and microservices architecture
