ADH has a dual mission: Developing cloudbased software applications for Health insurance and supporting Allianz units worldwide in optimising their Health insurance business along the value chain.

As a (Junior) Legal Counsel Data Privacy and Compliance Manager you strengthen our Legal Compliance and Privacy Team (LC&P) with your ability to quickly analyse complex legal privacy and compliancerelated matters and to find both compliant and practical solutions always taking into consideration ADHs business model and needs. You will work very closely with ADHs Senior Legal Counsel Data Protection & Compliance Officer as well as across all ADH functions and Allianz Group representatives. You will not only be the central point of contact for all legal and privacyrelated matters about our digital product development and distribution of our products but also for any such matters regarding ADH as an organisation.

Tasks

  • Support the effective management and continued development of ADHs legal compliance and privacy program including corporate housekeeping.
  • Maintain and update ADHs corporate rules: regularly review monitor and implement Allianz corporate documents that are applicable to ADH; create ADH internal corporate documents as required and support their implementation.
  • Maintain the ADH contract library and manage ongoing contractual relationships with ADH customers and providers.
  • Manage risks: Regularly review company procedures practices and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks; assess company operations to determine legal compliance data privacy and ethics risks; create and manage effective risk mitigation action plans in response to identified risks.
  • Conduct internal employee training sessions on the latest regulations and processes particularly around data privacy and compliance; promote a privacy and complianceoriented culture within the company.
  • Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance and data privacy including any (privacy) incidents if any.
  • Support the ADH Data Protection Officer in monitoring performance and providing privacy advice on daily business activities as well as the services provided by ADH.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all data processing activities conducted by the company including the purposes of all processing activities.
  • Conduct dedicated privacy and ethics impact assessments for required processing activities.
  • Regularly liaise with relevant crossfunctional teams within the company or on Allianz Group level on legal privacy and compliance obligations.
  • Support in ADHs thirdparty risk management: Conduct due diligence on (potential) business partners from a regulatory legal privacy and compliance perspective; support the maintenance of ADHs records of approved providers vendors and software assets.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) licensed in Germany or comparable (international) law degree preferably with aboveaverage results. A focus on IT law digitization and data protection is a plus but not a must.
  • Previous professional experience is not required; young professionals/recent graduates are welcome.
  • A clear detailed logical approach with excellent record keeping and the ability to work with little supervision and a high degree of selforganisation is essential.
  • Clear concise communication skills and experience at presenting complex subject matter to business audiences is desirable.
  • The candidate must be a team player with ability to foster good working relations and support the teams professional standards and customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Word PowerPoint and Excel as well as GSuite and Confluence.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German.
