Entering orders into the system according to the requirements of individual order specifications. Applications may be received via email, fax, electronic means (EDI or XML) or other relevant sources.
In case of unclear requests, contact the customer or the customer's sales representative
Check it against the licensing system
Maintain order queue to ensure smooth business process within defined KPIs
Manage electronic orders by verifying order completeness and accuracy
Archive applications according to established guidelines
Create/update customer-specific reports (e.g. order status, tracking, backorder management, drop shipping order status, etc.).
Respond to customer inquiries regarding open orders (expected arrival time, order status updates, product information, pricing, etc.)
Perform order cancellations when necessary or upon request
Perform order configuration for items if requested
Produces daily, weekly and monthly reports accurately when the client needs them
Manages MCOPs to ensure they are completed within the customer's SLA, while maintaining accuracy.
Responsible for creating quotes/sales opportunities using the company's required tools
Perform other activities related to successful order processing when necessary or requested (e.g., clearing sales, completing missing shipping address information, etc.)
Liaise with other members of sales, organization, teams and management as they are required to resolve basic to moderately complex transactional issues and must be able to navigate across various IM sales support functions. This includes sharing critical business information with customers and service providers based on order management as part of a scalable, real-time network that helps deliver levels of speed and performance to Ingram customers.
