We are seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the recruitment process for technical positions within our organization. You will work closely with our recruiters to source screen and onboard candidates while promoting our company as an employer of choice.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing and posting technical job descriptions.
- Source potential candidates on various platforms including: LinkedIn Pnet Stack Overflow and GitHub.
- Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes.
- Participate in prescreening calls to analyse applicants abilities.
- Conducting interviews using various methods (e.g. structured interviews technical assessments and behavioural questions).
- Support in coordinating with Operations to forecast department goals and hiring needs.
- Craft and send personalized recruiting emails to passive candidates.
- Assist in onboarding new hires.
- Contribute to promoting the companys reputation as a great place to work.
- Stay updated with new technological trends and products.
Requirements
- Some experience in recruiting or a related field preferred.
- Basic familiarity with interview formats (e.g. phone Skype).
- Interest in technical fields with a willingness to learn and understand job requirements for IT roles.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of sourcing techniques such as social media recruiting and Boolean search.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources IT or a related field is required.
NQF 6 or higher tertiary qualifications. Must have a valid (not expired) IT architecture certificate. TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) v9 or later certification is preferred but would not be detrimental to the bidder, should the resource not have a TOGAF certificate. Minimum of 5 years experience as an Enterprise Architect. Minimum of 2 years experience as a Solution Architect.
