Job Description

Overview:

The Business Development Lead plays a crucial role in the organizations growth and success by identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining strategic relationships and driving the companys revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company goals.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking client referrals and industry events.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals ensuring a smooth transition to the account management team.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends competitor activities and potential new markets.
  • Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop lead generation strategies and campaigns.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with clients ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Monitor sales performance and create reports for management review.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the product and marketing teams based on customer interactions and market trends.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows.
  • Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual budget and sales forecast.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field.
  • Proven track record of successful business development sales or marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve results.
  • Understanding of market research and analysis techniques.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Indepth knowledge of sales and business development strategies.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a dynamic environment.
