You contribute to the overall security posture and our business by improving and implementing best practices identifying vulnerabilities and supporting our risk management efforts.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Information Security Specialist you will be instrumental in fortifying our security measures and bolstering our resilience against threats and attacks.Your duties will include:

• Improving the Information Security Management System by for example developing procedures and tools in collaboration with the security organization.
• Supporting the organization in classifying information and related assets
• Conducting risk assessments on systems processes and third parties.
• Monitoring and following up on control effectiveness and mitigating measures
• Following up and improving the incident management process.
• Supporting the organizations efforts within security risk compliance and governance.
  

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Basic understanding of information security principles risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in IT concepts networks and system architecture.
• Ability to create clear and concise security documentation including instructions guidelines and incident reports.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to see the bigger picture and to understand the business needs.
• A solid understanding of IT concepts networks and system architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with teams and individuals from all over the organization.
