About us
In 2022 Inee was founded after combining Budbee and Inox two leading lastmile delivery companies with three consumerfacing brands: Budbee Inox and Porterbuddy. Inee serves millions of consumers across Europe with convenient deliveries and is on track to become the leading European ecommerce enabler. Always with the consumer at heart.
Were fast both in terms of parcel delivery and when it comes to growing our business. So far our journey has taken us from Sweden to the rest of Scandinavia and parts of continental Europe but we have no plans on stopping anytime soon. As we continue to expand the complexity of Inee grows in parallel. With that in mind were now looking for a ytics Engineer to help on the journey ahead!
About the team
The Business Intelligence team has 2 main roles in play ytics Engineer and Data yst. We have developed a comprehensive way of working for ourselves and our stakeholders and build our solutions on the modern data stack using FiveTran Python DBT and Snowflake for data ingestion storage and modeling with Tableau as our primary data visualization product.
What you will be doing
Within the Business Intelligence team you will get the opportunity to shape how Inee builds its ytical data layers which serve everyone in our organization and enable us to make better decisions. The data warehouse is a key et that we use for multiple data processing purposes; while traditional BI is one use case we deploy we also service data science investigations and create endpoints for our technology teams to use in our products and services.
Why an ytics Engineer
The intersection of data ysis and engineering has seen the emergence of the ytics Engineer where data ingestion is a solved problem thanks to SaaS products and easier programmatic integration patterns and the value focus is on data modeling in SQL and building actionable data models for multiple use cases.
As an ytics Engineer you will cover:
Design and build data models that support business processes where governance and trust in data are critical
Be an expert in data transformation techniques using SQL and here at Inee we use DBT to automate this as well as Python
Work on ytical projects to help answer a hypothesis or solve an idea a stakeholder might have
Demonstrate an appetite to try new approaches staying up to date with market trends and advances in data processing
Be comfortable promoting your work both internally and externally
We think you are a person who...
Will have experience from a Data yst Data Engineering or Data Scientist role
A university degree in an ytical field (e.g. Mathematics Computer Science Physics)
Has strong knowledge of SQL and command of ytical functions
Understands data modeling techniques and their value in delivering end user selfservice
Has good programming ss (Python Go)
Is able to use a data visualization and odical approach to communicate your ytical findings
Understands the value of modern cloud computing and SaaS tools we have in play at Inee (FiveTran Snowflake DBT Tableau Python)
