Programmer II

We are hiring a Programmer II for one of our clients in Kansas City MO.

Job Description:

• Modify test and troubleshoot custom web applications. Converting current applications from ORACLE databases to SQL databases
• Enhance and maintain existing web applications to meet evolving user needs and improve operational efficiencies.
• Monitor maintain and implement software and database updates to ensure smooth functionality and mitigate security risks.
• Ensure compliance with security standards through regular database updates and maintenance activities.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in developing on Microsoft platforms frameworks and tools such as Visual Studio ASP.NET MVC and C# as well as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with HTML JavaScript CSS and database design and development principles

Skills Preferred:

• Familiarity with basic UI/UX web design principles.
• Strong knowledge of API development.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of handson experience in C# software development projects.

Education Required:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work hours:

• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
