Job Description
Nixon McQuade are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on behalf of a leading business based in Newry.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for providing all round support to the department activities.
The Role:
- Monthly management accounts
- Support daily accounting transactions
- Assist with weekly payroll
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Bank and cash allocations
- Month-end procedures
- Monthly intrastat returns
The Person:
- Part-Qualified Accountant or Newly Qualified (ACCA,CIMA,ACA)
- The ability to work in a team as well as individually
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
