Job Description
- Submit planning changes, as required. Locate material to be machined as specified on Work Order (W/O) or drafts, jigs and fixtures from various types of material
- Obtain appropriate drawings, specification, documents and/or sketches, using computing systems (e.g., REDARS, CATIA)
- Layout, plan and sequence work
- Use shop math, geometry and/or trigonometry to calculate dimensions, as required
- Identify machine to be used in Jig Bore operation (e.g., Ronin (Siemens control), Pratt and Whitney)
- Check machine for visible defects; contact Facilities for maintenance or repair, as required
