Marketing Intern

PeopleOS HR Partners Consulting Limited (PeopleOS) is a professional services firm specializing in the provision of professional services covering the Human Resources valuechain. The business was the People Operations team of Venture Garden Group (A tech holding company with a vision to transform the African continent using Innovation and Technology) and in 2022 became PeopleOS.

We are in pursuit of an enthusiastic and driven individual to become an integral member of our dynamic team as a Marketing Intern. In this role as a marketing intern you will be responsible for all stages of digital marketing campaigns working on a wide variety of projects including website management social media search engine optimization and email marketing campaigns. The role reports to the Business Development Lead.

Developing and implementing community engagement strategies

Moderating discussions and content (LinkedIn Instagram)

Responding to community inquiries and feedback

Analyzing data to assess community engagement

Designing social media campaigns

Creating social media content

Develop an editorial calendar

Assisting with the planning and hosting of marketing events

Researching and evaluating competitor marketing and digital content.

Contributing to the creation of mockups email campaigns

Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns

Monitor and analyze effectiveness of marketing content

Develop and manage website content

Requirements

12 years prior experience in Digital Marketing is required.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent in business or related field.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with marketing software and analytical tools.

Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.

Must have a passion for marketing.

Outstanding multitasking abilities.

Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop Canva etc.

Social Media Savvy.
