This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager MENA who will be responsible for the continued growth and expansion of the mVAS business across the MENA region.
Within the role you ll be involved in planning and conceptualization of new marketing sales and product strategies and tactics alongside the recruitment and management of the new traffic sources including but not limited to Social Media Google Search DSPs Affiliation Ad networks and more.
In this role you will coordinate both internal and external stakeholders in different time zones to determine the most efficient and costeffective approach to launching new products across the MENA region aimed at successful expansion of the business into new markets as well as maximizing the profits in the existing ones.
YOUR MAIN DUTIES:
1. Business Strategies:
- Initiate plan and execute business development strategies tactics and specific action plans aimed at growing and expanding VAS business in the MENA region
2. Market Expansion Research Analysis and Evaluation:
- Evaluate business opportunities and formulate dedicated action plans for each individual market launch (i.e. market and media landscape analysis mobile operators gateways aggregators etc)
- Develop specific strategies aimed at establishing profitable businessmodels and service longevity
- Create and present compelling product & service proposals tailored to the needs of the local MENA mobile operators mobile gateways and the regulatory requirements
3. Sales Generation & Partnerships:
- Research analyze and recruit new traffic sources (Google independent DSP networks affiliation networks independent media buyers and publishers etc.) that will help you grow a healthy and profitable user base across a variety of MENA geos
- Contribute to the companys Internal Media Buying efforts within and outside the MENA region by providing detailed insight and handson tactics aimed at profit maximization and customer value
4. VAS Product or Service Development:
- Work with the product team to develop and Improve Existing VAS Product portfolio that fits the needs of the various MENA markets in terms of compliance and profitability. Play an active role when it comes to the idea generation product conceptualization planning all the way to the execution and product launch
- Explore propose and overlook ideas that will allow extra monetization of the existing service(s) e.g. crossselling between VAS and CC submit products
- Propose new services based on the handson knowledge and experience with the MENA region that will help the company differentiate itself from the competition.
5. Metrics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) of the various MENA markets and traffic partners. Monitor and evaluate daily the profitability
- Prepare regular reports for management to assess progress and make informed decisions. Propose new QS or internal reporting systems or create manual reports if needed
6. Project Management:
- Coordinate with the team to deliver all assets necessary to run successful campaigns on the market. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and actively participate in the sprint planning
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within the quality standards and the budget.
- Take ownership of all projects related to the MENA markets
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of handson experience in a similar role within the MVAS industry
- Proven track record launching successful DCB and PSMS campaigns
- Proven ability to influence crossfunctional teams without formal authority
- Great attention to detail and gogetter attitude
- English fluency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
