Job Purpose and Impact:
As a Project Engineer you will focus on optimizing interconnected components of our manufacturing system. You will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures providing advice on engineering issues. Your responsibilities will include coordinating plant location personnel workflow ergonomics materials logistics production process sequence and equipment layouts.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist manufacturing plant and facilities engineers with facility planning and design.
• Conduct cost inventory production control and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revised operating methods.
• Establish methods to maximize the use of production facilities and personnel.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading thirdparty resources to deliver business results.
• Knowledge of engineering and management software.
• Familiarity with environmental health and safety standards international standards and codes related to engineering and technical projects.
• Experience in the food industry.
