Job Description

The Data Quality Business Analyst will be the subject matter expert on establishing monitoring and measuring the quality of critical business data in global and market data products. This role will be responsible for increasing the overall data quality of critical business data.

This is a businessfacing role so the ideal candidate must have proven skills working in a business domain and influencing business stakeholders. The roles will initially be responsible for refining the clients endtoend data quality process and playbook. Ongoing the role will work with business stakeholders to design good business rules document data flows and business requirements identify and help resolve quality challenges report status and metrics and facilitate the continuous journey toward achieving quality data.

The role will also work with the data quality developers who will create data quality jobs per the business rules and with the data governance platform team in publishing metrics and results.

Workshop Coordination and Facilitation:

Strategically identify focus groups to conduct data workshops.

Coordinate and facilitate workshops with the business to identify challenges in the datasets and reporting within Collibra.

Documentation and Collaboration:

Create detailed documentation for challenges identified in business workshops surrounding data quality and reporting efficiencies.

Gather and translate business requirement findings from workshops to data and technical teams to resolve said issues.

Reporting and Resolutions:

Work with the data and technical teams to ensure business requirements are being resolved.

Communicate and liaison between the technical teams and business on updates and completion of changes to the datasets and reports.

Data Quality as a Service:

Develop and establish a stepbystep playbook/process reference guide to offer Data Quality as a Service within other areas of the enterprise.

Ensure the reference guide allows for customization depending on the size type and scalability of departments/groups.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data quality processes.

Preferred Job Experience and Qualifications

5 9 years working in data governance and/or data quality.

• Excellent English spoken and written communication skills.
• Experience designing business processes for data quality management.
• Experience in building business rules (from data profile results business policies business input)
• Understanding of standard data quality dimensions and best practices
• Experience facilitating workshops on data quality.
• Experience with data quality issue resolution processes
• Exposure to Lightup and/or Collibra is a plus.
• Exposure to designing applying and executing data quality rules.
• Ability to read and understand SQL statements.
• Experience in communicating business requirements to technology stakeholders.
• Experience in designing data quality scorecards/reports/dashboards.

Work Logistics:

• United States Central Time Zone (8am to 5pm).
• Preferred USbased.
• Remote work with limited travel required
