Overview
The Talent Acquisition role in the HR department is crucial for identifying attracting and hiring top talent to drive the organizations success. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization has a skilled and motivated workforce to achieve its strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
- Conduct candidate screening interviews and assessments to identify the best fit for various roles
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices
- Negotiate offers and facilitate the hiring process
- Utilize various recruitment channels including social media job boards and networking events
- Ensure compliance with HR policies as well as legal and ethical standards
- Utilize HRIS and ATS systems to manage candidate data and recruitment processes
- Participate in employer branding and talent acquisition marketing initiatives
- Provide regular reports and analysis on recruitment metrics and performance
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar HR role
- Demonstrated expertise in recruitment techniques and best practices
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with HRIS and ATS software
- Familiarity with employer branding and talent acquisition marketing
- Solid understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Proactive and resultsoriented mindset
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g. SHRMCP PHR) is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
