IT Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities: 1. System Design and Implementation: - Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and implement IT infrastructure solutions. - Evaluate and select appropriate hardware and software components based on organizational needs and requirements. - Install, configure, and deploy servers, storage systems, and networking equipment. 2. Network Management: - Design and manage the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity, security, and performance. - Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. 3. Server Administration: - Administer and maintain servers, including operating system installation, configuration, and updates. - Monitor server performance and ensure high availability. - Implement backup and recovery strategies for critical data. 4. Security Implementation: - Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure. - Configure firewalls and other security appliances. - Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. 5. Virtualization and Cloud Computing: - Deploy and manage virtualization technologies for servers and storage. - Work with cloud platforms(OCI and Azure) to integrate cloud services into the organization's infrastructure. 6. Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with other IT teams, such as development and support, to ensure seamless integration of systems. - Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff. - Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. - Coordinate and reporting to IT Manager 7.
