Develops the medium to long term IT strategy for Physical Security (ELV) Systems and technologies at HIA that include: integrated airside-landside Video Surveillance System (VSS / CCTV), and Access Control System (ACS), Video Analytics (VA) & Computer Vision System, Face Recognition System & other Biometric Systems; taxiway Traffic Light Control, airside Panoramic Video Surveillance and Runway Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Detection Systems.
Researches on emerging industry trends and initiatives for Physical Security Systems and technologies in order to recommend proposals for their application at HIA to achieve tangible benefits and improve passenger experience.
Manages the professional and efficient: System Administration, operations, documentation, maintenance and support of the above systems; and ensures restricted access to the production environments of these systems, in compliance with the ID and Access Management policies.
Develops technical expertise within the department for the above systems; and accountable for effective allocation of suitably qualified resources for design, implementation, technical support, system administration, business support, and projects based on their skill level and operational/strategic priorities.
Accountable for the delivery of projects as part of new capabilities in Physical Security Systems (ELV Systems) domain, ensuring that the assigned programs and projects meet the business needs as per approved scope & specifications; and they are delivered within the approved cost and schedule, with the acceptable quality.
Manages ITIL service aspects of the above systems to minimize negative impact on the Business by leading recovery of service failures within SLA and ensuring prompt and effective root cause analysis to avoid recurrence; and for formal reporting on the performance of the systems.
