Workshop Technician

• Exhaust after treatment system maintenance Diesel Particulate Filter cleaning.
  
• Receiving deliveries inspecting testing placing pars through the service process retesting packing
  preparing for dispatch.
• Delivering assigned maintenance tasks on time to the requirements of the planned maintenance system and timeframe to ensure safe reliable and compliant service.
  
• Varied workshop maintenance duties.
  
• Preparing daily job cards.
  
• Collecting and delivering parts around customer sites.
  
• Delivering work to a high standard of quality
  
• Reconditioning overhauling Exhaust After treatment Systems
  
• Use power tools Drilling Cutting metal
  
• Fabrication
  
• Learn to produce sound weld joints and good cosmetic finish
  
• Workshop equipment and facility repair and maintenance
  
• Driving company vehicle for collection and delivery
  
• Carry out new installations of emission exhaust after treatment systems
  
• Provide support and suggestions for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Skilled mig / tig welder is an advantage
  
• Clean driving licence essential
  
• Experience of engineering preferably gained within an automotive environment with a good understanding of engine/vehicle
  
• Skills in fabrication
  
• Mechanical background.
  
• Skills and Experience in a similar role.
  
• Clean driving licence essential
  
• Microsoft office
  
• Ability to maintain individual productivity and quality standards.
