Interacts with outside bodies as Civil Defense Authority aswell as guests when needed.
Interacts and cooperates with the Engineering Department and other hotel Departments to ensure industrial and health Safety
Responsible Business
Manages the fire brigade organization, maintain full roster of personnel, providing plans of action to meet all possible fire situations in the hotel.
Ensure that fire protection equipment is properly maintained and should supervise the testing of fire appliances
Conduct surveys and inspections using standard forms designed to cover actual condition of the hotel
Prepare and ensure implementations of crises management and emergency manual
Prepare the safety training plans and firefighting procedures
Responsible to keep records of work accidents
Identifies hazards through hazards spotting
Give safety assistance and advice to employees
Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards
Ensure that you are familiar with hotel’s risk management system.
Deputise for the General Manager when the General Manager is absent.
Supervise colleagues to ensure they fulfil their risk management responsibilities.
Report any serious accidents through approved channels.
