Pre- Primary Teachers-Nursery Kindergarten

Preprimary teachers play a crucial role in the early childhood education sector. You will be responsible for providing a nurturing stimulating and safe environment for young children typically between the ages of 4 to 6 years old. Preprimary teachers facilitate the development of essential skills including social emotional cognitive and physical abilities through structured activities and playbased learning.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Planning: Design and implement ageappropriate lesson plans and activities that cater to the developmental needs of young children. Incorporate various teaching methodologies including playbased learning storytelling arts and crafts and music and movement.
Classroom Management: Create a conducive learning environment by establishing clear routines rules and expectations. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and conflict resolution techniques.
Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate children's progress and identify areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of each child's development including observations assessments and anecdotal notes.
Parent Communication:
Establish open and transparent communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress behavior and any concerns or issues that may arise. Collaborate with parents to support their child's learning and development at home.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other preprimary teachers support staff and administrators to create a cohesive and integrated learning environment. Participate in team meetings professional development activities and school events as required.
Health and Safety: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in the classroom by following health and safety guidelines and procedures. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities including meal times nap times and playtime.
Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest trends research and best practices in early childhood education. Attend workshops seminars and training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Qualifications and Soft Skills :

• Graduate plus B.Ed
• Courses in Child Development or a related field a plus .
• Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and theories.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Patience creativity and enthusiasm for working with young children.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
