Linux Systems Administrator

Location: Waltham Boston

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join our team for a 612 month contract in Waltham Boston. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and a strong background in Linux administration cloud computing virtualization and network management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Linux Administration:

• • Proficiency in managing Linux distributions specifically Ubuntu and Debian.

1. Cloud Experience:

• • Handson experience with cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

1. VMware vSphere:

• • Demonstrable experience with VMware vSphere for virtualization.

1. Security Focus:

• • Proven commitment to security best practices.
  • Familiarity with security certifications and multifactor authentication (MFA).

1. Networking:

• • Expertise in cable patching and network configuration.

1. Scripting:

• • Proficient in scripting languages such as bash and PowerShell.

1. Active Directory (LDAP):

• • Solid understanding of Active Directory and LDAP.

1. Change Management:

• • Experience with change management processes.

1. Windows Servers:

• • Knowledge and experience with Windows Server versions 2016 and 2019.

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Availability for 100% onsite work in Waltham.
• Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
• Duration: 612 months.
• Rate: $65.00 Per Hour (Full Cost)
