Job Description

OVERVIEWOur client is a leading steel manufacturing company thats looking to hire an Electrical Maintenance Technician (Night Shift). Were looking for individuals with backgrounds in industrial electrical including PLC and AC/DC experience.RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical equipment and effectively troubleshoot complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery and systems.Analyze test results machine error messages and information obtained from operators to diagnose and repair.Be a valued member of the maintenance team interacting with production industrial maintenance and crossfunctionally to ensure reliability of equipment service safety and continuous improvement.MUST HAVEHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.3 years electrical maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment.Experience with industrial electronics AC/DC theory power transmission test instruments and instrumentation VFDs PLCs ladder logic relay logic hydraulic and pneumatic systems motor controls and electrical construction.NICE TO HAVECertificate of Completion of Apprenticeship Journeyman Certification or equivalent work experience.Steel industry experience.Welding and light fabrication experience.Experience with industrial communication networks (Profibus Profinet Ethernet).
