Responsible for the day-to-day HR operations tasks including face to face, emails, phone calls, and front office inquiries
Responsible for the appointment process, providing orientation for new staff regarding University policies
Responsible for internal operations process inclusive but not limited to:
Process/administer all leaves such as; leave without pay (LWOP), Sick leave, etc., while ensuring the alignment with the internal University policies
Process/administer all compensation action on system and ensure all related documentation are compliant with the policy
Complete all of the hiring/separation procedures and documentation
Process/administer overtime on HR systems and reviewing documents while ensuring that it is in compliance with the policy
Process/administer employee benefits programs on system and ensure all related documentation is in compliance with the policy i.e. retirement plans, tuition, medical and schooling loans, etc.
Issue all HR related letters/contracts/certificates and other related HR documents as requested/assigned
Maintain accurate filing and archiving (soft/hard) of employee’s files according to their status
Communicate with the University members regarding HR policies and benefits as per staff handbook and announced policies in a clear and professional manner
Resolve employee concerns and act as liaison between HR operations and staff effectively
Generate needed reports and provide relevant analysis on demand
Perform other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor
