Job Title: DevOps Engineer with Istio Envoy
Location: Dallas TX (hybrid onsite)
Duration: 12Months
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Design develop and implement gateway solutions using Istio Envoy and RUST WASM for custom policies.
Design solutions for Ingress Edge Proxies Prefix Based routing and Subdomain routing using Istio.
Configure and manage Istio control planes and data planes.
Develop and troubleshoot custom Envoy filters using RUST WASM.
Build and maintain Docker images for Istio and Envoy.
Work with Kubernetes to deploy and manage Istio and Envoy gateways.
Monitor and troubleshoot Istio and Envoy performance.
Stay uptodate with the latest Istio Envoy and Kubernetes technologies.
Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement solutions.
Document technical designs and procedures.
Qualifications:
Experience with Istio Envoy and Kubernetes.
Experience with Kubernetes and Istio commands
Strong understanding of networking concepts.
Experience with developing and deploying microservices.
Experience with RUST or C.
Experience with Docker and containerization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills:
Experience with service mesh technologies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with cloud platforms.
Experience with security best practices.
Linux commands
Experience with Security protocols Mutual SSL and encryption modules.
Experience working with Code repositories and Artifacto sent two roles
Educational Qualifications:
- Required Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
- Preferred Masters degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) Computer Science Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.
Travel:
- Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
