Job Description

The advertising close date for this vacancy is Tuesday 6th February 2024.

This role is for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Operations Lead and Loan Operations Manager, the primary purpose of the role is to provide effective control on the upkeep of stock systems and be an integral part of the internal control team for physical stock and stock systems supporting all the main operational departments within Tekno Surgical.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Part of Internal control team for physical stock and stock systems.
  • Management and upkeep of stock systems (ERP, Sharepoint lists, web processes)
  • Help managing the '' shared email address.
  • Replacement of implant expiries (Every day and in bulk monthly) and looking at rotation and other 'write off' mitigation initiatives.
  • Management of returns systems and back-office share point list.
  • Act as a contact for all stock queries from Sales Reps and internal departments.
  • Ordering and building new instrument / implant sets.
  • Responsible for the management of damaged instrument replacements and management of 'Used' Instrument stock.
  • Costing of new loan/consignment sets for Sales Reps
  • Assisting in management of small and large scale stock management programmes and Product life Cycle Management (PLCM) initiatives from various suppliers.
  • Complete monthly KPIs on all aspects of the department like monthly expiries and write offs.

Background, Experience & Skills:

Experience:

  • Experience of ERP Systems (MS Navision an advantage)and Microsoft Office (excel required)
  • Knowledge of distribution supply chain model and/or operation of a consignment business model, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a service driven, customer focused role

  • Absolute attention to detail. Strong attention to detail is a necessity in the medical industry.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and develop and maintain strong working relationships, notably with internal departments
  • Strong analytical skills.
