We are looking for a professional and leader with extensive experience in Fleet Preowned and Operations. The Polestar Commercial Manager Fleet & Preowned will take responsibility for supporting Polestars Fleet and Preowned vehicle sales growth in Australia and driving functional excellence in each of these areas. This role will also oversee and manage the companys internal vehicle fleet and remarketing. The Commercial Manager Fleet & Preowned reports to the Head of Commercial Operations

What youll do

Fleet & Business:

  • Actively pursue incremental fleet sales to drive and maximise long term fleet sales market share
  • Enhance consistent fleet sales and performance management by acting as a Polestarambassador in the organization for Fleet & Business and in engagement with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and execute national Fleet strategy operational plans concrete targets and governance for the area
  • Design and deployment of fleet procedures campaigns and programs to support fleet operations and generating fleet orders
  • Handson fleet sales and operations management
  • Provide key account management including fleet customer prospecting relationship building and negotiating
  • Business development in new fleet channels and segments
  • Set up monthly delivery target of Fleet volume
  • Understand and apply EV and other government subsidies for corporates and novated lease customers

Preowned:

  • Manage Preowned vehicle sales and monitor stock levels
  • Develop and manage our Preowned process to optimize Preowned sales
  • Responsible pricing strategy of Preowned vehicles developing partnerships with local service providers in remarketing area to improve residual values of Preowned vehicles
  • Creating new business processes to support Polestar Preowned program
  • Develop local pricing strategies and tools to drive revenue
  • Ensure fulfilment of Preowned standards across operations through regular audits and provided training
  • Develop new and innovative sales strategies for Preowned vehicles to enhance the second cycle of these vehicles
  • Report and followup on Preowned sales performance and KPIs
  • Manage internal and company cars including supporting defleet process of internal stock
  • Continue improvement of Preowned program to ensure a competitive customer offer
  • Recommend change requests and enhancements to the Global Preowned program to improve local performance and customer journey
  • Monitor market residual value performance against key competition

Who you are

You are a person who have a fascination for car sales and electric mobility paired with a clear future vision. You are a person who possess excellent communication and documentation skills at different levels. You can work in a constantly changing environment and enjoy the flexibility. You are independent and can organize and prioritize your own work tasks in a responsible way and have the mindset for continuous improvement and detailorientation and good analytic skills. You are enterprising and you get energy from networking with people and finding solutions.
In this role its important that you are comfortable with applying fundamental principles to real world. You are also creative ambitious analytical and someone who loves relationship building and leading a dynamic team to perform and deliver strong results. We seek a highly competent team player with solid experience is Fleet and with an excellent understanding of Fleet sales operations. You are well experienced of managing vehicle remarketing at a major automotive brand with a deep understanding how car manufacturers manage used vehicles. You can handle multiple tasks maintain focus and adapt easily to changing business needs.

    • Minimum 5 years experience in the automotive field or related
    • Master or Bachelors degree in Business Administration Commerce Engineering or equivalent
    • Strong business development acumen
    • Problem solving entrepreneurial attitude and a strong sense of organization time and resource management
    • Demonstrated analytical skills and data driven decisionmaking
    • Proven project manager qualities with ability to lead process implementation and project full cycle
    • Experience from other large and complex companies is a great advantage and / or experience from the EV automotive industry
    • Excellent written and verbal English skills
    • You have experience with data analysis financial analysis and market sales analysis
    • Have experience developing relationships with and managing strategic partners and other external stakeholders and vendors
