The OntheRoad Account Consultant is responsible for maintaining and expanding the relationships with our valued clients. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can effectively communicate with clients identify their needs and propose solutions that align with their business objectives. The consultant will be expected to travel regularly to meet clients attend industry events and stay updated with market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships. Understand client needs and objectives and align our solutions accordingly.
- Sales and Business Development: Identify business opportunities with existing clients and new prospects. Increase the companys revenue by achieving sales targets through effective consultative selling and negotiation.
- Product Expertise: Maintain indepth product knowledge to demonstrate and promote our solutions during client meetings.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends market activities and competitors strategies. Use this knowledge to identify new opportunities and advise clients on market dynamics.
- Feedback and Reporting: Provide feedback from clients to internal teams regarding product improvements or new products. Prepare and deliver reports on account status sales activities and market trends.
- Travel: Frequent travel to client locations industry conferences and trade shows to build relationships promote the company and close deals.

- Responsibilities include taking orders during client visits which must be promptly entered into our online ordering portal throughout the day and when necessary outside regular hours.
- In addition to order taking responsibilities during store visits encompass conducting product launches checking kits merchandising both retail and professional stock providing troubleshooting support (excluding training) highlighting products and delivering general added value to clients.
Soft Skills:
- The role demands strong interpersonal organizational administrative and multitasking abilities.
- Fluency in English both in verbal and written forms is essential.

NonNegotiables:
- Candidates must have prior ontheroad sales experience and professional training or experience in the nail industry.
- A personal vehicle a valid drivers license and insurance coverage for rental vehicles in case of accidents or mechanical failures are mandatory.
- Work hours are set with the first appointment at 8:30 AM and the last appointment concluding at 4:45 PM followed by a daily 15minute debriefing call with the sales team.
- Attendance at bimonthly internal training sessions scheduled before or after standard work hours is obligatory. Training times are typically from 7:308:30 AM or 5:306:30 PM but may vary.
- The job entails completing 5 to 8 client visits per day depending on the days assigned region. All visits must be scheduled in advance and rebooked for the subsequent two months.
- Engaging in additional employment including beauty salon work during weekdays or weekends is strictly prohibited.
- Given the jobs travel requirements candidates must have arrangements in place for child care where necessary as the position is fulltime and does not offer flexible working hours.
- Smoking is prohibited during work hours.
- A professional appearance is always required including appropriate attire hair and makeup.
The successful candidate will inherit a wellestablished client base and will oversee its management in alignment with the companys Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with guidance from the management team. A petrol card will be provided for travel related to work purposes only. Additionally a phone and tablet will be supplied complete with minutes and data designated for workrelated communications and tasks.

Benefits
Base Salary: R15000 gross monthly earning up to R18 000 gross salary with a guarantee that compensation is not based on commission.
Additional Monthly Benefits (exclusive of the base salary):

- Tyre Allowance: R900.00
- Beauty Allowance for Nails: R200.00 from March to August and R300.00 from August to March.
- Travel Reimbursement: R0.32 per kilometer applicable only for workrelated travel.
