Job Description
We are looking for students within software development to join Integration Services for a fulltime internship as part of their education (Yrkeshgskola). We are looking for someone to join us during their both internship periods (LIA) during autumn 2024 and spring 2025.
The role is based at our Lindholmen office in Gothenburg Sweden requiring a minimum of two office days per week.
The opportunity
In the area of Integration Services we deliver digital solutions that support multiple departments in Polestar in their business needs. Our responsibility is to ensure stateoftheart digital capabilities to support our core business processes both from an enduser and a corporate perspective. As an intern you will have the opportunity to work with cuttingedge technology and gain handson experience in the field of enterpriselevel integrations.
The responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced developers to design and develop integrations.
- Develop unit tests and provide code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality.
- Actively participate in team meetings for collaborative problemsolving share progress and learn from experienced professionals.
- Document new integrations and update existing integrations.

You are natural administrators with thorough attention to detail. You possess growth mindset with looking at things from a positive perspective and thinking outside the box to solve them. You are tech savvy with agile approach.
We also believe you have:
- Analytical skills and interest in solving business challenges.
- Interest in process mapping and documentation.
- Good to have experience in Java development and objectoriented concepts.
- Awareness of APIs SOAP and/or Web Services will be beneficial.
At Polestar you will be part of a crossfunctional and international team with English as a natural language for written and spoken communication.
