Job Description:

As a Jira Developer / Atlassian Engineer youll work closely with stakeholders to develop streamline and maintain custom Jira solutions. Your expertise in ScriptRunner and Jira Query Language (JQL) will be essential as you support our clients missioncritical project management environment. Experience with Jira Software Cloud Jira Service Management and Confluence is required while OpsGenie experience is a valuable plus.

• Custom Development: Design and configure custom workflows fields screens permissions and notifications within Jira focusing on ScriptRunner.
• Automation & Efficiency: Use ScriptRunner and JQL to automate processes build custom reports and create tailored dashboards to optimize performance.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Engage with teams to understand requirements troubleshoot issues and implement scalable solutions that support dynamic projects.
• Documentation & Training: Develop comprehensive documentation and deliver training sessions to foster efficient tool usage and adoption.
• Integration Management: Integrate Jira with Confluence OpsGenie and other tools to support seamless crossfunctional collaboration.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5 years as a Jira Developer or Atlassian Engineer with a strong focus on ScriptRunner and JQL.
• Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of Jira Software Cloud Jira Service Management Confluence and (ideally) OpsGenie.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problemsolving skills and a keen eye for detail in optimizing workflows and processes.
• Communication: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and simplify complex technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.
