You will be updated with latest job alerts via email- Being responsible for leading and managing a project, or part thereof, under the supervision of your line manager. - Managing all interfacing activities to ensure clear and agreed scope and activities, by use of toolsets including Interface matrices, Interface agreements, interface scheduling, and system project control registers (risk/change/action). - Managing all operational readiness activities including coordination, management, and verification of training, resourcing, handover/takeover, knowledge transfer, familiarisation, project deliverable readiness, people and process operational readiness, and support. - Complying with the project plan and ensuring that all relevant parties you lead and supervise also understand these project objectives in your day-to-day management of the project. - Planning, managing and monitoring the project, reporting any areas of concerns in a timely manner, and you will recommend ways to resolve any issues as they arise. - Producing and managing accurate records for all project issues as required. - Complying with Mace’s processes and procedures and delivering our services in line with Mace’s core values. - Managing and being accountable for your scope of work on the project. - Managing the interfacing and operational readiness activities for the project. - Being fully aware of the project objectives in line with the project plan and leading and supervising the relevant project team/parties to achieve these objections. - Being engaged in the health, safety, and wellbeing of the project at all stages. - Participating in planning and monitoring the progress of your project. - Preparing necessary project plans and keeping them updated and relevant over the course of the project. - Ensuring project budgets are managed. - Being ensured that quality systems are in place and suitably managed and monitored. - Leading relevant meetings and site walks and ensuring these are suitably recorded. - Being actively involved in risk management. - Communicating with all project parties/stakeholders and ensuring suitable records are maintained. About you You will have a technical qualification relevant to the specific project/role and be a member of a professional body. You have good skills and experience in managing projects, transition into operations, and operational readiness activities. You have good project planning skills & understanding - both time and budgets. You have a knowledge of HSE rules and regulations and a proactive approach. You have good skills in communicating and presenting. You have a project management qualification (preferable). You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have experience delivering projects from start through to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike. You have a construction or cost consultancy project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer
