Project description:

To support our team at a renowed customer in the aerospace sector we are looking for an FPGA Development Engineer (m/f/x) in Munich for a permanent position at Ktronik. Does this sound interesting Then we are looking forward to your application!

Tasks:

  • FPGA design implementation (layout coding debugging) for flight control computers and other avionic systems
  • Specifying and developing FPGASW and FPGABoard Interface definitions
  • Developing and implementing of low level test procedures and support of test result evaluation
  • Adaption/modification/repair of devices under test according to modification plan
  • Support in establishing process specific development documentation
  • Perform and support tool qualification activities

Skills:

  • Completed university degree in the field of electronic engineering or similar qualification
  • At least 3 years experience in avionic hardware development according to DO254
  • Good knowledge of largescale FPGA architecture and design in VHDL or Verilog
  • Experienced in FPGA verification methods (e.g. RTL STA Gate Level and UVM)
  • Professional experience with requirements based design and verification preferrably using DOORS
  • Circuit modelling skills in MATLAB
  • Good knowledge of signal processing (ADC/DAC FFT PWM etc.)
  • Experience with communication interfaces like RS486 ARINC429 CAN 2.0 or similar
  • Fluent english skills
  • Enthusiasm and curiosity for working on nextgen avionic electronics components also nice to have would be:
  • Knowledge in analogue and digital circuit design preferrably for NXP microcontroller and MicroSemi/XILINX FPGAs
  • Experience with control functions e.g. current controller speed controller Field Oriented Control
  • German and/or French language skills
