Key responsibilities:
- Establish relationships with key decision makers in the customer organization to contribute to project details and outcomes.
- Implement changes according to project governance.
- Participate on several projects/programs, occasionally a role in the guiding of the project team.
- Coach team members of lesser experienced wireless, security, or network engineers in customer Projects to ensure that they are delivered according to expectations, plans and standards.
- Perform and coach others to continuously document knowledge to enable an effective knowledge sharing process and organizational development.
Description:
- Engineer solutions to integrate and update wireless LAN coverage into new facilities.
- Experience with Cisco ISE for securing wired and wireless networks.
- Work with outside vendors and internal organizations to have surveys performed and required equipment installed.
- Project, configure, implement, and maintain security platforms related to Cisco ISE and other related software, such as firewalls, network access control, SIEM.
- Plan and appraise ongoing assessment of firewalls, and other network component policies
- Guarantee network security best practices are executed through auditing: router, change control, switch, firewall configurations, and monitoring
Requirements
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in engineering (IT, Telecom, Computer Science). Preferably over 10 years relevant experience, of which approximately 5 years in Wireless, security, and routing and Switching Installation, Configuration, Support and Consulting.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (written, spoken and presentation) and ability to work with clients/customers.
- Good understanding of wireless and Security networks and services.
- Is pro-active, with good communication skills (written, spoken and presentation), creativity, problem solving and decision-making skills. Capable of working both independently and within teams and be comfortable working in structured and unstructured situations and solving non-standard problems.
- Evaluate site network infrastructure, and operations; assess customer current and future plans to optimize their wireless, security and R&S architecture, and capabilities.
- Candidate must have CCNP R&S, and/or Security; CCIE certification is a plus and highly appreciated
Requirements:
- Canada s Top-Secret Clearance needed.
- This is Onsite Job, requires 5 days a week going to customer site.
- Ideal candidate must have previous Hands-On experience on deployment, testing, and support of network solutions.
- Mastering a wide range of technologies including wireless, wired, ISE security, network routing & switching.
- Count on at least 5 years experience architecting network solutions for enterprise, government or Service providers customers
