ABOUT THE ROLE
Job Overview:
You will need to be responsible for a wide variety of supervisory compliance and risk functions in conjunction with the accountability for maintaining a consistent controlled environment through adherence to business ethics and practices and adherence to all applicable Federal State local laws and other regulations.
This role keeps the Senior Risk Manager and the CRO informed of significant matters a nonrevenuesharing position with dual reporting responsibilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for all risk supervisory and compliance functions for respective branch location(s) also Identify financial safety or security risks that the client company or organization may face.
Facilitate any supervisory inquiry or process that requires escalation from the Senior Risk Manager and/or the CRO.
Focus on business ethics and regulatory and compliance practices.
Provide coaching and guidance on policies and procedures to promote risk awareness and a compliant environment.
Ensure proper procedures are in place to ensure that approvals are handled appropriately and timely.
Liaise with the Legal and Compliance Division with customer complaints and litigation.
Supports in the preparation for and response to audits and ensures that any audit findings are appropriately responded to and remediated.
Responsible for proactive client contact in determining suitability and managing risk.
Requirements
Profile Requirements
Fluency in Chinese Mandarin and English is a must; previous experience with local clients is a plus.
Bachelors degree or above in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field.
At least 3 years of work experience in risk management or related functions.
Evidence of strong leadership capabilities or previous supervisory experience.
Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or other relevant certifications is advantageous.
Ability to identify issues and trends to anticipate change and provide recommended comprehensive solutions and remedies.
