One of our esteemed clients in the shipbuilding industry is currently seeking an Interim HR Specialist for immediate joining to be based in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Job Summary:
As an Interim HR Specialist you will play a pivotal role in supporting various human resources functions on a temporary basis for a duration of 12 months. Your responsibilities will encompass talent acquisition employee relations benefits administration and other HRrelated activities. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles effective communication skills and the ability to navigate various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
Support the recruitment process including job posting candidate screening and coordinating interviews.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
Employee Relations:
Address employee queries and concerns providing guidance and support.
Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues and participate in conflict resolution.
Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance leave management and retirement plans.
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefitsrelated inquiries.
Onboarding and Offboarding:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Conduct exit interviews and assist in the offboarding process for departing employees.
HR Compliance:
Stay abreast of local labor laws and ensure HR practices comply with regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records in the HRIS.
Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support decisionmaking.
Employee Engagement:
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives including organizing events and activities.
Seek feedback from employees to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of HR policies procedures and employment laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
HR certification (e.g. SHRMCP PHR) is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
Availability to commit to a 12month interim role.
Flexibility to adapt to changing HR priorities and organizational needs.
