Senior Procurement Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare subcontract plan for receiving and tracking of assigned categories to optimize quality, cost, and timely delivery criteria.

2. Keep contractual and delivery dates updated and accurate for released Purchase Orders.

3. Analyze and evaluate all subcontract agreements to ensure clarity and completeness in the description of scope of work.

4. Prepare and issue requests for quotations to qualified vendors and subcontractors as per approved vendor list.

5. Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors within the expected time frame.

6. Interview prospective subcontractors and vendors either face-to-face or over the phone to determine scope, prices, discounts, terms to ensure that target prices, company’s terms and conditions are met.

7. Review the received technical and commercial offers, prepare comparative analysis and coordinate with technical departments that all clarifications are cleared.

8. Prepare the approval form and get the required signatures.

9. Prepare subcontract agreement complying with received PRs and in accordance with selected suppliers, price, and technical approval.

10. Provide updates about subcontractors’ related progress and potential delays on a weekly basis.

11. Prepare / check subcontractor monthly payment application in coordination with project site team, PMO QS, and PMO Cost Control.

12. Perform any other related tasks assigned by the direct manager.

1. Solid knowledge and expertise on EPC projects.

2. Ability to manage and identify Supply Chain Risks

3. Critical thinking and attention to details.

4. 7 to 10 years of experience
