Job Title: AZURE CLOUD SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Dublin 1 Hybrid 50/50

Contract / Permanent: FTC 9 Months With further extension

Start date: MidFebruary 2024 (subject to Garda Vetting and on boarding completion).

Role:

The Client requires the services of an Azure Cloud Services Administrator to join the Hybrid Cloud Operations team to ensure the effective provisioning of Azure environments users and services and adhere to change procedures. You will work on interesting and complex assignments as we implement Cloud Adoption in the organisation ensure a high quality of work is delivered and provide coaching and guidance to less experienced colleagues in order to drive the provision of both technical expertise and stakeholder commitment within the function.

The key responsibilities for this role are to:

Work with project stakeholders and analysts in the application of controlled change to the IT environment in order to ensure continued effective implementation and operation of applications and systems.

Review logs and alerts to monitor system performance and capacity and take action as appropriate in line with defined performance targets so that customer s expectations can be managed and the ongoing health of technical environments is maintained.

Support the delivery of projects as required including delivering any development and integration work that is required in order to achieve successful deployment and implementation of the technical elements of projects

Plan and implement requests for change identifying the detailed technical steps and actions required and then carry these out in an accurate and timely fashion in order to manage customer expectations and ensure effective delivery.

On occasion take on the role of Senior Azure Cloud Administrator or Architect on projects of an appropriate scale and complexity in order to meet business project demand.

Participate in the Change Management process to contribute to the change being handled seamlessly and not impacting Central Bank operations.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement at both delivery and project level feeding these into the appropriate processes initiating and completion of improvements where possible so that future technical solutions are delivered as efficiently as possible.

Experience Level Required:

It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed has the equivalent of

7 years of extensive professional experience in their specialised field.

Strong theoretical base in subject area with ability to apply best practice principles to the subject matter context.

Experience in leading complex projects/programmes.

Responsible for leading a high performing team of professionals including the ability to coordinate contributions of other specialists to complete a joint project.

Experience in implementing change in a time critical and highly varied environment

Good verbal interpersonal and written communication skills.

Requirements

Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:

The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role.

Highly effective/advanced IT skills and experience of Microsoft infrastructure stack particularly Windows Server SQL Server and Azure

Experience working with IT Managed Services providers and outsourcing vendors to ensure delivery of solutions and services.

Experience in the troubleshooting and maintenance of underlying core infrastructure solutions at an enterprise level

Proven ability to troubleshoot and support implementation and testing of applications interfacing with underlying technologies.

Understanding of technologies and architectures related to servers load balancers firewalls storages networks datacenters etc.

Experience of IT solutions and end to end service lifecycle management.
