Position Overview:

As a Java Backend Lead Engineer you will be responsible for leading the backend development team driving the architecture and development of robust and scalable Javabased solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of frontend technologies a proven track record of working in startup environments and experience mentoring and leading a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership:
  

• Provide technical leadership and guidance in the design and implementation of backend systems
  

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals
  

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team
  

• Backend Development:
  

• Lead the development of scalable and maintainable Javabased backend systems.
  

• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements using serverside logic.
  

• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of backend services.
  

• Mentoring and Team Development:
  

• Mentor and guide team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  

• Conduct code reviews provide constructive feedback and enforce best practices.
  

• Lead by example with handson coding and problemsolving.
  

• Collaboration:
  

• Collaborate with product managers designers and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  

• Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of backend services.
  

• Startup Environment:
  

• Thrive in a fastpaced startup environment demonstrating adaptability and the ability to wear multiple hats when necessary.
  

• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture that values innovation creativity and a cando attitude.
  

Must have:

• 7 10 years of experience in Backend technologies
  

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
  

• Good understanding of frontend technologies and their integration with backend systems.
  

• Strong Programming skills (Java / Ruby / Python)
  

• Good knowledge & understanding on CI/CD and Git
  

• Understanding of Agile methodologies
  

• Experience in Leading a Team of 2 or more (preferred)
