Our client, a service-driven packaging company, is hiring a Business Development Representative to join their sales division in the Calgary area.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional with the ability to build strong client relationships, to build the business and increase overall revenue. A great attitude, high level of energy, tenacity and resiliency is a must. Extensive training is provided to ensure success.
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 + Commission and Car Allowance
Responsibilities
- During training program, learn about the products, markets and business.
- During training program, work with the different departments and people who will be your support team.
- Work with team leader to build a territory plan focused on developing a new client list and existing accounts.
- Work with internal support teams to build and deliver client presentations as required.
- Conduct territory research and create effective prospects lists.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree / College Diploma is preferred.
- 1-3 years of sales-related experience is an asset.
- Strong sales acumen, with a drive to succeed and a passion for making connections.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with little direction in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to present yourself in a professional manner.
- Language Proficiency Requirements: speak, read and write English fluently.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
