Location: Oakland, CA

Duration: 13 Weeks Assignment

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledgeable of Social Work principles and standard practices.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Knowledgeable of community resources.

Able to work with people of all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds

Flexible, open-minded and adaptable to change

Demonstrated ability to connect patients and families with appropriate services

.

Training in Crime Victims Compensation and Rights.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENT:

.

Must be a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of employment. Must have a Master’s degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

.

Must possess one year of social work experience in a hospital setting.

.

EPIC, Allscripts experience, must work 2 weekend per month

.

Must be capable of making independent decisions relevant to client’s needs.

.

Must be capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks of critical importance simultaneously.
