Job Description
Job Title: System Analyst 5 WebSphere
Location: Lansing MI Hybrid
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Systems Analyst (SA) to join our team. As an SA you will play a key role in managing and administering computer infrastructure and software. The ideal candidate will ensure the uninterrupted operation and high performance of various ORS applications including WebSphere administration Clarety Customer Support Application Employer Reporting and miAccount.
As part of your responsibilities you will be expected to ensure that system hardware operating systems software systems and related procedures adhere to State policies standards and guidelines. Additionally you will actively contribute to the design implementation and maintenance of Azurebased systems. Collaboration with development teams to optimize Azure infrastructure for application performance is crucial and you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Azure infrastructure automation scripts. Monitoring and troubleshooting Azure infrastructure issues ensuring the security and compliance of Azure infrastructure with industry standards following State of Michigan policies and procedures and participating in an oncall rotation for production support are integral parts of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer IBM WebSphere.
- Manage and administer computer hardware and software.
- Ensure system hardware operating systems and software systems adhere to State policies standards and guidelines.
- Design implement and maintain Azurebased systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize Azure infrastructure for application performance.
- Develop and maintain Azure infrastructure automation scripts.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure issues.
- Ensure Azure infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards following State of Michigan policies.
- Participate in an oncall rotation for production support.
- Other duties as assigned.

- 35 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- 35 years IBM WebSphere
- Some experience with Microsoft IIS
